FAQ 676
Do I need to provide evidence to demonstrate my prior learning?

It is your responsibility to evidence your prior learning, although your course team or the askBU Enquiry team will be able to advise you.

Typically it could take the form of an original certificate, a programme handbook and/or programme/unit specifications so the prior learning can be mapped against the learning outcomes of your current course.

For experiential prior learning (e.g. from within industry), it could take the form of a logbook maintained as part of a programme, company training scheme or for a professional body; job descriptions; supervisors’ or employers’ reports; a portfolio of work done in a training position including the learning from this work.
