How will I know if my Exceptional Circumstances have been successful?
For coursework extensions and exam postponements
Your Framework Leader/Programme Co-ordinator (or nominee) will consider the assignment extension/exam postponement request and decide whether your circumstances are valid based on the submitted evidence. If agreed, an extension/postponement will be granted and a new hand-in deadline/exam date set, normally within 7 calendar days of receipt of the form.
For Board consideration
The Circumstance Board will decide whether your circumstances should be taken into consideration and grade the circumstance for consideration by the Assessment Board. You will be advised of the outcome of your circumstances following publication of your results from the Assessment Board.
