How can I travel to the University?
Bus - The University runs a subsidised bus service which connects the two campuses with the local residential areas. Most students use this service to get around and there is free wifi on all buses.
If you are in university accommodation, the rent you pay includes a bus pass (unless otherwise stated). You can choose to opt out of this pass up to and within the first term. However, we find most students like to have this pass as it offers a convenient method of day to day transport to and from university and around Bournemouth. Any student can apply for a bus pass at any time using the UNIBUS website.
Bicycle - There is plenty of bicycle storage at the halls of residence and at the BU campuses. Bournemouth also benefits from established cycle routes. See the cycling web pages for more information.
