When and How much do I have to pay to secure my room?
Conditional Firm Offer Holders
Once you have reserved your room, no payment is due until your offer becomes Unconditional Firm (UF). For details about when you can reserve a room, please visit our How to book accommodation webpage.
Unconditional Firm (UF) Holders:
If you have booked a room in a BU Managed property (Dorchester House, Student Village, or Unilets) you will be required to pay your "Rent Instalment 1" at the time of booking to secure your room.
If you have booked a room in one of our partner halls, the accommodation provider will contact you within 5 days of you making your booking to arrange taking your payment.
