I am an HSS student. Can I get the additional £5,000 support?
Information for HSS students who commenced study from August 1st 2017
The provision of support for Allied Health courses expanded significantly from September 2020. Both new and continuing students are eligible.
Students will receive at least £5,000 in addition to their existing student finance.
The courses delivered at BU which attract this funding:
- Midwifery
- Nursing (all branches)
- Occupational Therapy
- Operating Department Practice
- Paramedic Science
- Physiotherapy
Full details of the NHS Learning Support Fund available are on the NHS Business Services Authority website. Students in receipt of NHS Bursary funding are not eligible for this support.
