How can I get involved with sustainability at BU?
BU’s students have been key in supporting our achievements in sustainability.
There are lots of opportunities to get involved in sustainability activities with BU and SUBU:
- Join SUBU's Green Taskforce
- You can find some community projects including the Beach Champions run by SUBU Community Projects
- Get involved in Green Week - this usually happens in November each year so plese keep checking for updates on the SUBU sustainability and events page nearer the time. You can also contact studentopportunitiesteam@bournemouth.ac.uk
- Have a look at the SUBU volunteering pages to find opportunities to help enhance biodiversity, get involved in the waste audit
- Remember to recycle on and off campus: sustainability and waste procurement
- Buy Fairtrade; all outlets on campus have Fairtrade products: BU and SUBU achieved Fairtrade University Status
- Consider sustainable travel and transport
