FAQ 2855
Are there alternatives to seeking support other than face-to-face?

Check our looking for support web page for more information about academic, career, financial or health and wellbeing support, guidance and advice.

The Student Assistance Programme is a free, 24-hour confidential helpline and digital resource to support BU students with personal or student-related problems.
Call 0800 028 3766 to speak to an experienced advisor who will offer support in a friendly, non-judgemental manner.
You can also contact the service through call back request, email or manned live chat within the ‘My Healthy Advantage’ mobile app, available on IOS or Android.

For further support please visit our health and wellbeing support services available at BU. We also have a very helpful wellbeing resources section on the website which has information that you may also find helpful including signposting to external organisations.

Important: If you are in need of urgent wellbeing support, please see the external services which you can access online, by phone or in person.
