FAQ 2244
What is Art at BU?

The Art department is part of our Culture and Sport department which sits within Student Services.

The art spaces on campus strive to encourage engagement, discussion and participation across the University and the local community.

The main Atrium Gallery is on the ground floor of Poole House, on Talbot Campus, with regular exhibitions which are open to everyone. The exhibitions showcase up-and-coming artists to provide examples of local art and embraces the idea of cross-disciplinary collaboration to highlight the creative talents of our staff and students based here at the University.

We also have permanent art displays, featuring sculptures situated around the university campus, including the courtyard of the Sir Michael Cobham Library.
