Student survey group - how to join/ leave

BU operates a 'surveys' email group to allow you to participate in other students’ research. Previously all students were enrolled in this group but could choose to 'opt-out'. Following feedback from students we have changed the way this operates and students now have to choose to receive these emails. All email requests for surveys to be published to this group have to be approved by AskBU.

All students are bound by the Use of Information Technology rules and should use the mail group in accordance with ethical principles. When you send your email to the group with a link to your survey, the email should be addressed to students, include who you are, why you are collecting the data and what will happen to the information they are providing.  Instructions to join or leave the group are published as a PDF document online.
