Information about reservations is on the Library web page.
On the Library Catalogue or MySearch you can search for the title of the book you want to reserve. If all lending copies are out on loan, click on the Reserve button next to the title. When prompted, enter your 8 digit Borrower Number - found next to the barcode on your student ID Card. Use all 8 digits, no spaces. Then click Logon. Wait for the confirmation that the reservation was successful. You will get an email to your university email account when the item is ready for you to collect at ‘Click & Collect’ reservations shelf in the appropriate site library.
To check the status of your reservations at any time, go to the Library Catalogue and click on the “My Account” tab at the top of the screen. Log in with your 8 digit Borrower Number - found next to the barcode on your student ID Card. Use all 8 digits, no spaces. From here you can view your current reservations (as well as all your current loans and their due dates).
Tip: Books cannot be reserved if there are lending copies available.
