Is there any financial allowance if I have a sibling still in education?
Student Finance England makes an allowance of £1,130 (2021-22 academic year) for any child other than the student who is totally, or mainly financially dependent on the parents when assessing household income. This means that they disregard £1,130 of the household income, reducing the household income so that the student will potentially receive a larger maintenance loan.
