Does the university have Fairtrade status?
Yes, we are very proud to announce that Bournemouth University and SUBU have been awarded a three-star Fairtrade University Award by Fairtrade Foundation, National Union of Students (NUS) and Students Organising for Sustainability UK (SOS-UK). Please view the announcement on our website and the Sustainable food page to see how we met the criteria.
Staff and students are welcome on the Fairtrade Steering Group responsible for overseeing the implementation of the Fairtrade Policy and for raising awareness of Fairtrade. If you would like to join, email us at sustainability@bournemouth.ac.uk.
